Deeviations

~ my space to be; as I deviate into the dark unwritten sky, trailing constellations of letters behind ~

You’ll have to agree - there is an undeniable mystic aura that surrounds ancient relics, monuments and ruins, not to forget those priceless antiques, sculptures, murals and vintage art. Remnants from beyond. It whispers about a time that was… of a time that never will be... it is all that is left behind for us to remember...

Don't you feel that rustic romantic breath of air that subtly envelops and adorns architectures from an era of bygone glory? They sing an old song, they have a story to tell, secrets hidden in the solid walls and pillars that surround. Nobody knows their story - it could be of battles lost, or triumphant victories, or maybe a saga of forbidden love, heartrending betrayals or of hidden treasures, or perhaps the wisdom of the ages.. nobody knows, no one will...

Their stories unknown and untraceable, these historical vestiges stand their ground against the horizon as a bold reflection and epitome of a majestic past, a sublime history, a rich hertiage, thats not meant to be forgotten but is almost...

Old world charm. Mesmerised. Astounded. I am helplessly transported into an enigmatic whirl that words cant describe... but i tried.

@Niya - Wow.. you feel the same way... yes I lose track of time too! Joy joy! :)

The way you have penned it, the history looks more charming... definitely...a story they tell, a song they sing :)

Absolutely. The aura surrounding these monuments is something akin to the one surrounding the songs of the bygone era. They put people through emotions, something we can only try to perceive based on our knowledge of the world and what we understand, but the ones present at that time are the ones that actually know the real them.

Good one!

Very nice thought. The beautiful monuments do remind us of the old times. We are often carried away in the past when we visit them. Beautiful post :)

@Beyond Horizon - aww.. you made me smile! :) History is sure charming...

@Snehith - Exactly, its just something we can only imagine and perceive - but it may not be what it really is. Sigh.

@Aakash - Oh yes - def takes us on a journey to past.. wondering what it was all like. Thank you!

wah..what a post! :)

Thank you Phatichar!
